The Loft Hair Design will celebrate its 10-year anniversary on October 11 2008 with the unveiling of an incredibly unique art gallery. Ricky Lizalde, San Diego-bred fashion designer formerly of Project Runway, will host the soiree, which coincides with Escondido's monthly 2nd Saturday event.

The Loft's team of talented stylists has selected ten average people from the community and transformed them using innovative hair creations. Three stories will be told within The Gallery collection: Urban Underground, Organix and Antique Nouveau. All clothing worn in the collection was created by local designers and made with recycled materials. Hair collections featured in The Gallery were created in August and photographed by Alex Slattery.

The Loft's anniversary party will feature the first unveiling of The Gallery, live models featuring looks from the collection, hosted food and beverages, a live DJ and various forms of luxurious surprises and live entertainment.

"To honor this major milestone, we want to show the community that we are still growing, both in size and in artistic mastery," explains Shawna Cruise, owner and stylist at The Loft Hair Design. "We consistently strive to be industry leaders, providing our clients with services that exceed expectations and break artistic boundaries."

The Loft is incorporating ArtReach throughout the event, an organization committed to putting art back into schools.
