It seems there is always an excuse as to why you're not working out at your San Diego gym.
"I don't have the time between getting off of work and making dinner for my family." Or, "I hate lugging around all of the extra equipment and workout clothes." My favorite: "I really just don't enjoy sweating!"
SuperSlow Zone, located in what I like to call, the Health and Fitness District of The Forum shopping center, on the cusp of Carlsbad and La Costa, is the remedy to every imaginable excuse.
Sandy Deveze and Thom Tombs, owners of the only licensed SuperSlow facility in San Diego County, promise visible results with 20-minute workouts one to two times per week. SuperSlow is a quick and effective way to exercise and build muscle, strength and endurance. On the SuperSlow plan, weight lifting and lowering lasts ten seconds each way, and a personal trainer is present to guide you through each exercise and track your results. The slow weight lifting and lowering successfully stimulates muscles and increases the resting metabolic rate, causing the body to burn more calories.
A number of fans are mounted on the walls in the exercise room, creating a comfortable and cool exercise environment. No sweating is involved during workouts and members are even encouraged to work out in their normal attire, making SuperSlow ideal for a quick lunch break exercise and on-the-go professionals.
Television screens are also omitted, to eliminate distractions for clients. And there's never any waiting for equipment as each 20-minute workout is scheduled by appointment only, so no more than two instructors are training at the same time. Think of any more excuses to say no to the SuperSlow?
