On November 15th, the award-winning Vasseur Skin Salon and Spa will launch the all-new Clear Skin Acne Clinic, a breakthrough holistic approach to treating acne.
The highly anticipated Clinic was developed and founded by Melanie Vasseur, a leading acne expert, cosmetic chemist and medical esthetician with over 30 years experience in the spa and health industry. The Clinic is based on the philosophy that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to clearing acne and that each person's skin needs to be treated differently and holistically, based on their specific acne type, skin type and problem areas in order to find a sufficient and permanent solution.
Through her experience treating thousands of teens and adults with acne, Melanie saw that traditional methods to permanently clear acne often fail, and specifically designed the Clinic to address these treatment flaws. Skin care products alone are generally not enough to clear acne; the skin also needs to be deep cleaned with regular facials to keep underlying bacteria at bay. Dermatologists can look at the skin and prescribe medication or products, but they are not there every step of the way to monitor the skin’s progress, and the medications they prescribe are often too harsh and severely dry out the skin. Regular spas don't typically specialize in acne, and will just perform a general pampering facial that will not clear the skin.
At the Clear Skin Acne Clinic, one of Vasseur’s highly trained acne experts will perform an in-depth assessment of each client’s skin and develop a personalized treatment plan that includes professional strength skin care products, a clear skin detox diet and aggressive, bi-weekly facial treatments. The Vasseur method is designed to deliver notable, visible improvements to the skin within one month and clear acne permanently and completely within 2-6 months, depending on the type and severity of the acne.
Melanie has designed the Clinic to offer services that are affordable and cost less than a facial or a trip to the dermatologist. The initial skin care consultation is $45 and acne treatments sessions thereafter cost $75 per treatment. The Clinic is currently accepting appointments, and those that book their first appointment by December 15th will receive a $50 voucher for products and a copy of Melanie Vasseur’s new acne book Under My Skin.
