Jason Herrick has taken San Diego nightlife to new levels of domination. His brand Fortune 421 Clothing has become the uniform in the local club scene. He has built his brand from the ground up, and up it continues to progress forward.

Although Oregon born, Jason arrived in San Diego five years ago to begin a journey which he never could have imagined. His independent nature and nonconformist lifestyle found a niche in San Diego that led to a future of "fortune."

Jason began Fortune Industries on a whim, however, his creativity and resourceful instincts led him to infiltrate every nook of San Diego nightlife with Fortune. Whether you've seen Fortune on a t-shirt, myspace, or nightlife flyer, it has become a lesson in brand recognition worthy of a college marketing textbook.

The Fortune Clothing and Fortune Music brands have had a significant role in the progression of San Diego nightlife, but Jason didn't stop there. He has spread the Fortune Events to Las Vegas and Miami. Fortune has brought the San Diego lifestyle to Vegas while bringing Vegas standards to San Diego.

Jason is not just an entrepreneur or nightlife mainstay, he has also created "Fortune the Kids" a fundraising effort to aid homeless youth, which happens to be a cause that is close to his heart. Underneath his reputation of quiet confidence and limitless success, lies an unfortunate family history of homelessness and domestic abuse that affected his mother. After years of estrangement, he used the production of his clothing line to give her a job and help to rebuild her life. Known around the Fortune scene as Mama J, Jason got his mother off the streets and assisted her to personify a life of fortune.

The Fortune motto is, "Spread a fortune of love and life." Jason has absorbed this mantra into his personal, social, and professional life. The impact that Jason has made on San Diego has nowhere near reached its apex and we are excited to see what the future holds.
