Pacific Beach Fest is back this Saturday, October 6th, 2007. This annual Pacific Beach neighborhood event is a non-alcoholic family-friendly festival located on the Pacific Ocean shoreline, hosted by Discover Pacific Beach.
As guests stride along the scenic boardwalk, they will encounter a diverse roundup of entertainment options. With Kid Fest, Arts and Crafts, and Taste of PB, there is a seaside stage for everyone.
Kid Fest
Kids of all ages are welcome to let loose at Kid Fest with flower potting, hat design with the Rad Hatter, clay shaping, face painting, dry land surfboard practice, and oversized slides.
Arts and Crafts
The Arts and Crafts Village will feature high quality metal, wood, and soapstone sculptures in addition to handmade soaps, lotions, skin care products, and handmade jewelry made from a variety of creative materials. Guests can also view acrylic portraits, watercolor abstracts, color and black and white photography.
Taste of PB
Over 20 Pacific Beach restaurants will offer sample-size portions of signature menu items outside in the sun. Been meaning to try that new Pacific Beach restaurant? This is your time to graze through the top eateries in town.
Performances
Head over to the Pacific Nissan Main Stage to enjoy a talented lineup live on the boardwalk, at Hornblend Street. From swing to salsa and tango, this eclectic stage is sure to please all ears and toes. The Discover Pacific Beach Community Stage also features performances by local stars such as PB Elementary band, Jenny Jayden, The Clams, and Skate This!
