Nothing gets San Diegans in the holiday spirit faster than a round of downtown holiday spirits enhanced by gaudy elf tights and reindeer antler hats. On theme with the local vibe, the newest of annual holiday events in San Diego returns for its third showing on Saturday, December 6, 2008.
San Diego, grab your best holiday inspired duds and prepare for the 2008 Santa Pub Crawl. Mix all the benevolent class of holiday giving with the wild enthusiasm of Halloween dress-up and debauchery, and you have the Santa Pub Crawl at its finest.
The Santa Pub Crawl begins at 5pm sharp within East Village Tavern and Bowl. The final crawl schedule is as follows:
- First stop: East Village Tavern and Bowl
- Second stop: The Corner
- Third stop: JSix at Hotel Solamar
- Fourth stop: The Fleetwood
To participate in the crawl, you have to dress in a holiday themed costume and you must either bring a toy to donate - worth $20 - or make a donation to the It's All About the Kids Foundation - a non-profit organization praised for innovative programs to benefit children's charities and enhance the lives of less fortunate children.
San Diego's Allison Farinas started the Santa Pub Crawl in 2006. Allison is the founder and director for The Schmooze San Diego, which offers networking events focused on fostering relationships between professionals primarily in the hospitality and related service industries.
