The lineup for 2009 Street Scene in San Diego has been released! 

Street Scene features over 40 bands on 5 stages across 2 crazy nights in downtown San Diego. The day divide has yet to be announced, but we do know who’s playing. Back for the second consecutive year at the original location in East Village, boasting a lineup with M.I.A. and Thievery Corporation, Street Scene 2009 should be better than ever.

Big Names: Silversun Pickups, Cake, Chromeo, Girl Talk
San Diego Favs: Ozomatli, Grand Ole Party, Anya Marina

Insider Tip: What we learned last year is, though the East Village location offers huge open areas for partying, alcohol isn’t allowed out of the contained beer garden areas. Make a note to self: practice drinking fast so you don’t miss your favorite bands while waiting in line or finishing off your beers.
