Milk Like Sugar at La Jolla Playhouse: August 30 – September 25
A San Diego premiere, Milk Like Sugar takes place in an inner city neighborhood and tells the story of a 16-year-old girl named Annie who feels that she is stuck in a dead end town and decides that she is going to invent her own future by entering into a life changing pact with friends. The Rocky Horror Show at The Old Globe Theatre: September 15 – November 6
Following a summer of Shakespeare, The Old Globe embraces the new fall season with a production of Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show. Jesus Christ Superstar at La Jolla Playhouse: November 18 – December 31
This rock opera tells the story of the last week of Christ’s life, and is said to have reinvented modern musical theatre. The musical comes to life as the audience discovers the power struggle between Christ and his disciple Judas Iscariot.
