Fact: Chocolate and wine are two of the world’s greatest gifts.
The Young Professionals Committee (YPC) of San Diego will host one of our city’s most decadent fundraising events on Thursday, August 30. The 8th annual Chocolate & Vino Affair takes place at Anthology, filling the three-story supper club with fine wine, rich chocolate and tray-passed hors d’oeuvres.
It’s the YPC’s gift to us that we can indulge in these sweet treats while helping a great cause. 100% of proceeds from the event will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County.
Prepare your palate for tastes from these delicious and generous sponsors: David Bacco Chocolatier, Cupcake Love, The Cravory, The Melting Pot, Chocolate Dove Discoveries, Greystone Steakhouse, Royal India, Trinity Baking, One Hope Wine, Monte De Oro Winery, Fallbrook Winery, Holiday Wine Cellar, Montesquieu Winery, Blue Owl Winery, California Fruit Wine and Envolve Winery, among others.
Patrons can also support Big Brothers Big Sisters through an opportunity drawing. Take your pick of prizes from local businesses, including Hornblower Cruises, Maderas Golf Club, The Rush Studio, Ballast Point Brewing Co., Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort, FLUXX, Viejas Casino, Craft & Commerce and Artesia Day Spa.
The Chocolate & Vino Affair will run from 6 to 9pm at Anthology in Little Italy. General admission tickets are $50 pre-sale and $60 at the door. You can upgrade to a VIP ticket for $100, which gets you free reserved parking, access to the private skybox lounge with additional goodies, and an entry into the VIP opportunity drawing. Tickets can be purchased online via sdbigs.org.
