The Alternative Healing Networking Inc. is proud to promote the use of integrative healing arts and improve their accessibility in under-served communities.

Staying true to this mission statement, the Alternative Healing Network presents the fourth annual Healing Arts Festival in San Diego. Head to Balboa Park on May 4th to enjoy a warm spring breeze and learn about alternative forms of healing with some of the most spiritually in-tune members of our community. The Healing Arts Festival is an all-day event open and free to the public.

Imagine the energy flowing through inspiring Balboa surroundings while a masseuse works out the stress tension in your shoulders, the smell of incense and oils wafts peacefully through the air, and live music croons you to spiritual bliss.

Opening at 9:30am, more than 50 booths will skip across the Park demonstrating what you need to know about physical and spiritual health. Spinal analysis, massage, yoga, metaphysical workshops, acupuncture, and other consultations will enlighten you. In the Meditation Garden, experience energy healing, available all day. Fresh foods to sample, grassy lawns to dance in, all while taking a day to celebrate life; this is what Healing Arts Festival is all about.

While wandering through the park relaxed and rejuvenated, you won't be able to miss the music. Experience funky reggae while tuning an ear to the sounds of Pato Banton and the Mystic Roots Band, world music with Sene Africa playing with an African instrument called a Kora as well as more local troubadours like charming Molly Jenson and spoken word artist Alfred Howard.

The San Diego Healing Arts Festival is designed to convey a powerful message. Come learn more about new methods of healing, culture-influenced art, and of course, becoming more peaceful with yourself and your community.
