5 Best San Diego Community Concert Events

San Diego summers always create community harmony. Each summer, the city hosts a concert series collaboration that ranges from the San Diego Symphony to the La Jolla Music Society. If you want to escape the confines of crowded music venues, step outside this summer. Listen to San Diego's best summer concert series events.

Concerts at the Fair
The Del Mar Fairgrounds starts the summer concert season with El Coyote y su Bana Tierra Santa with Los Alegres de la Sierra. Begins July 1, Del Mar.

Jazz in the Park
The San Diego Museum of Art hosts Jazz in the Park with the Bob DeVos Quartet and a special performance by Eric Alexandar. Begins July 6, Balboa Park.

Summer Pops
The San Diego Symphony launches their annual Summer Pops series, featuring Viva España at Embarcadero Marina Park South. Begins July 13, Downtown.

Summer Fest
La Jolla Music Society kicks off the Summer Fest season at the Museum of Contemporary Art, featuring Bach and Beethoven performances. Begins August 3, La Jolla.

Bird Park Summer Concerts
North Park welcomes a blues-rock quartet at Bird Park on 28th and Thorn streets. Begins August 4, North Park.
