San Diego's Downtown Rotaract Club (SDDR), the county's largest Rotaract division and a branch of Rotary International, announces the 5th annual "Ace of Hearts" casino night gala.
The 2007 Ace of Hearts gala will be held June 15th from 7pm to 10pm at the esteemed Luna Lounge, an upscale restaurant and lounge in Downtown San Diego. Luna Lounge boasts a sleek interior, regional DJs, and an eclectic menu. In accordance with the "casino night" theme, guests will be encouraged to play black jack, craps, and poker while bidding on elaborate auction items and raffle packages, contributed by local businesses.
SDDR's 5th Ace of Hearts casino night gala will benefit Father Joe's Village, a homeless rehabilitation organization dedicated to addressing immediate and ongoing needs of underprivileged children, families and individuals. Proceeds from raffle tickets, casino games, and auction items benefit Father Joe's Village.
Denise Luna, owner of the Luna Lounge, notes: "We constantly look for outstanding nonprofit organizations to host events for. The Downtown Rotaract Club is certainly a match for the Luna Lounge, and we are delighted to be hosting an event that will make an impact in San Diego."
The Rotaract Club of Downtown San Diego is a community service and social organization composed of young professionals ranging in age and occupation, sponsored by the Downtown Rotary Club of San Diego.
