Are You the Next American Idol?

For many, maybe too-many years now, the FOX mega-hit, American Idol, has filled San Diego big screens with the soothing vocals of emerging B-list celebs and painful-yet-mysteriously lovable screeches of brave souls. From Kelly Clarkson to Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks, and Jordin Sparks, San Diego fans have lived vicariously through the triumphs and utter embarrassments of many stars on the rise.

Listen up San Diego Idol fanatics. Put down the remote and take a study break from Sanjaya Hairstyles 101, it’s finally your chance to be the next American Idol. That’s right, your 4 nights-a-week routine of beltin’ Madonna and rockin’ Prince from The Lamplighter to Scholari’s Office have actually paid off. It’s time to refine those lyrics and subject your talent to the ultimate test: Simon Cowell.

The American Idol talent hunt for the 2008 seventh season begins July 30^th at San Diego’s own Qualcomm Stadium. Pack your sequins, hot lemon tea, and sleeping bags, it’s time to camp out and conquer your spot as the next American Idol.

Out of town? Not a problem, the tour continues through 6 more cities:

Dallas: Aug. 6

Omaha: Aug. 10

Atlanta: Aug. 14

Charleston, SC: Aug. 18

Miami: Aug. 22

Philadelphia: Aug. 27

I saw that on the news yesterday. I can't believe they're coming. My sister and I are practicing already. I hope simon likes us. I think we're going to camp out the night before. Does anyone think thats enough time? I hope we make it...

my dream

since i was 5 i wanted to become a sing but i knew that that would not happen if i dont do anything about it so today i decided to look at some web sites and here i am. i really want o be in american idol soooo bad, but i dont know how.

ok, i just got back to san diego from vacation and heard about this american idol coming to sd thing on the radio. i'm soo gonna try out for this, i remember when veronica mars came to sd i wanted to go to the casting but couldn't make time for it. how do we go about signing up for tryouts??

I 'm going to be the next American Idol!!!

I just wanted yall to know that im going to do what i was put on this earth to do and thats to be American Idol!! I love American idol Fantasia and J. Huson realy made me want to get it together so watch out and get ready!!!

I Wanted to be on American Idol

Man i wanted to do this so bad but i miss every state the went to and i feel so bad and my dream is crush that i can't do because they only went to 7 states and i felt they could have went to more!!!!!!!!! i dont what to do now maybe wait till next year

I want to be the next american idol!

When I was a little girl I use to sing all around the house. As I got older I knew that I was blessed by God to sing. Now that I'm a mother I want My children to see that no matter what trials and test come your way that you can be anything you want to be, hold your head to the sky!

I have been a fan of American idaol for the longest time now!! I wanted to tryout last time when the tour was in louisville, ky but i was still too young!! Oh but im ready and fierce; nothing is going to get in the way of me getting to American Idol this time!!
