Only few events this summer truly personify San Diego to perfection and one of them is the Beach to Brewery Karl Strauss Beer and Music Fest featuring all your favorites bits of summer: beach, beer, biking, and bands.
On Saturday, May 10 from 2-7pm enjoy a classic Pacific Beach breeze while sampling ten different Karl Strauss specialty brews on tap and listen to live rock music at the Karl Srauss Pacific Beach Brewery. Headlining the stage are San Diego locals post-punk revival band Louis XIV, the Shys, the Strangers, and Hotel St. George. Out under the sun, soak in the heat and sip a tasty local beer in festival style settings mixing with other San Diegans with similar tastes.
Skip the parking mess and meet up with local bike riders and cruise to the Fest. An optional bike ride hosted by the San Diego Bicycle Club will ride 4.2 miles from Pacific Beach Library to the event grounds.
Founded in 1989 on the beaches of San Diego, Karl Strauss Brewing Company crafts Southern California lifestyle beers such as the Red Trolley Ale, Stargazer I.P.A., and of course the Woodie Gold. Every dollar raised at Beach to Brewery goes to the San Diego chapter of the SurfRider Foundation, dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world's oceans, waves, and beaches.
