Ben Flajnik Is The New Bachelor

Ben Flajnik got sent home in a shocking twist of events last season on “The Bachelorette”, yet Us Weekly magazine announced earlier today that he will get another opportunity to find his perfect match as the world watches, on the upcoming season of “The Bachelor”. While ABC has yet to confirm the news, US Weekly has had several inside sources confirm this information.

The 28-year-old winemaker from Sonoma got his heart broken as thousands of fans watched the season finale of “The Bachelorette” on August 1, 2011. While Ben and Ashley Hebert may have seemed like a match made in heaven, especially on their Fiji fantasy date, it turned out that Ashley had other men on the brain, specifically JP Rosenbaum.

In Fiji, the two seemed as if on a honeymoon, as Ashley rubbed sunscreen on Ben in between kisses. The audience held their breath as the two flirted and laughed throughout the final date. Yet, in the season finale, Ashley left Ben heart-broken as she turned down his proposal and stunning Neil Lane ring and made her final decision in choosing JP as the man of her dreams.

However, apparently Ben isn’t one to sit around and mope and was recently in celebrity news as he was spotted with Jennifer Love Hewitt on what appeared to be a date at Lions Pub in San Francisco. While Jennifer later clarified that they were not dating to US Weekly, this media attention makes him an even hotter commodity as the future Bachelor, while keeping him in the spotlight.

Now, it appears that Jennifer may lose any chance of a further date, as Ben Flajnik gears up to be the next Bachelor in an all-new season expected to start up in January 2012. Either way, I fully agree with US Weekly’s inside source, who claims “they think he’ll be ratings gold.” With his sweet personality and goofy yet humble demeanor, Ben will make an excellent contender for any lady’s heart.
