The Dave Matthews Band is returning to Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre, where it will perform for the first time since 2010. The group, which did not tour last year, will perform at the sprawling Chula Vista venue on Sept. 7. The stop here will be the third to last date on its 2012 summer tour. The group is now working on a new album with veteran producer Steve Lillywhite, who produced the Dave Matthews Band's first three albums.
An online ticket pre-sale will begin Thursday for members of the band's fan club. A pre-sale for Citi care members will begin March 5 (although, as of this writing, there is no mention of the tour on the Citi web site).
Tickets for the general public will go on sale March 9 at ticketmaster.com. The Chula Vista date does not currently appear on the Ticketmaster web site, but the concert here is listed on the Dave Matthews Band's web site and was announced by the band's publicist.
Stay tuned for more info on ticket prices and the exact time of the March 9 general ticket on-sale here.
