It’s finally getting chilly out there! Don’t get stranded outside -- head into one of the many concert venues in San Diego with top artists stopping through this month. There’s Tiesto, Metric, Rick Ross, M83, Passion Pit and even Snoop Dogg on the calendar. Read on to hear more.

MMG Tour featuring Rick Ross at Viejas Arena – December 2

Hard-core hip-hop fans have the chance to see not just Rick Ross take the stage, but Meek Mill and Wale as well. They’ll be joined by special guest Machine Gun Kelly and arrive in San Diego as part of their 23-city tour. 7:30pm; $39.75+ Buy tickets

 

Tiesto at Valley View Casino Center – December 6

Dutch musician, DJ and record producer Tiesto brings the heat to Valley View Casino Center. When he’s not busy making new jams for us to blast, he’s snagged a Grammy nomination, numerous MTV awards, and even got his own wax statue at Madame Tussauds. “Work Hard, Play Hard” with Tiesto. 8pm; $35+ Buy tickets

 

David Bazan at the Casbah – December 6

While best known as the lead singer of Pedro the Lion, David Bazan’s solo career has best showcased his skillful, intricate and poetic lyrics. Paste Magazine called him one of the 100 Best Living Songwriters. At the Casbah, David will perform Pedro the Lion’s Control in its entirety. 8:30pm; $13+ Buy tickets

 

91X Presents Wrex the Halls at the Viejas Arena – December 7

Soaring energy and bone-rattling sounds – that’s what you get when 91X puts on their annual Wrex the Halls concert. This year, the stage will burst with headliners The Killers (pictured left), M83 (main image), Passion Pit, Tegan & Sara, The Joy Formidable, Imagine Dragons, Youngblood Hawke and Audio Addiction. 5:30pm; $19.91+ Buy tickets

 

91X Holiday Bonus at House of Blues –December 8

The party continues with Metric headlining the 91X Holiday Bonus at the House of Blues. From “Help I’m Alive” to “Gimme Sympathy,” Metric has developed a sound and a following that’s all their own. Their fifth album Synthetica was released in June this year, and Metric has since released a deluxe version featuring acoustic versions of the songs. Snoop Dogg at Belly Up – December 10 & 11

Yep – you read that right. Snoop Dogg heads to the Belly Up for two nights of legendary hits, newer songs and even a bit of the brand new Snoop Lion mixed in. Whether you’re an old-school Doggystyle fan for life or adore Snoop for his more recent collabs with the likes of Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams and Akon, this is a show not to be missed. KPRI Holiday Soiree ft. Mat Kearney at Balboa Theatre – December 12

Benefiting Toys for Tots, the 102.1 KPRI Holiday Soiree will bring together Mat Kearney, ZZ Ward and Allen Stone for a night of good music for a great cause. Mat Kearney’s most recent album Young Love revealed his honest and heartfelt stories packed with emotion. 7:30pm; $39.50+ Buy tickets

 

Dead Feather Moon at Belly Up – December 21

San Diego band Dead Feather Moon has grown wildly in popularity with their unique combination of rock, alt-country and psychedelic blues. Their debut full-length album Dark Sun won Best Alternative Album at the 2012 San Diego Music Awards. The band is currently writing material for their second full-length record. 9pm; $12+ Buy tickets
