Halloween Ball Invades The Prado

Although it’s not unusual for DJhere Productions, DTown Productions, and TK Productions to put on one hell of a party, it’s still an extraordinary ordeal when they team up to throw one of the largest and most highly anticipated Halloween bashes in San Diego.

Halloween Ball at The Prado has been knocking spooky festivities out of the park for the past seven years, and is back again on October 31st for its 8th annual celebration. Between drinking, dancing and trickery through the multiple rooms and various floors of entertainment, The Prado at Balboa Park is one of the most elaborate and picturesque hosts of Halloween revelry.

The refined elegance of the location is accented through three-dimensional hand-stenciled ceilings, hardwood floors, skylights, a full theatrical stage, outdoor garden and inspiring Spanish architecture— a haunted mansion, if you will, in our own backyard.

The combined indoor and outdoor aspects of this party lend a historic touch to the typical Halloween scene, and the venue itself holds more twists and turns than any other standard nightclub. Featuring four separate rooms, a massive courtyard, more than ten DJs, over 20 bars, and the ability to accommodate over 2,200 of us party goers, this year’s ball takes the occasion to a whole new level. On the bill for beat-dropping are Donald Glaude and San Diego’s own Scooter & Lavelle.

Halloween Ball at The Prado parties on from 9pm to 2am, and is strictly set for the 21 and up. Tickets are on pre-sale now, starting at $30 each. As one of the few Halloween parties actually taking place on the holiday, costumed guests are invited to explore this adult playground between the grand ballroom, side room, fountain courtyard, and upstairs loggia, along with two adjoining patios and multiple bars.
