Got a sweet ride? Sign up for the First Annual Fifth Avenue Auto Showcase – a truly unique San Diego car show to be held on Sunday, October 11, 2009.

All avid car enthusiasts and casual auto fans are invited to roll into the Gaslamp Quarter on Sunday, October 11 from 12 – 4pm to check out the hottest cars in town. This event will feature Italian exotics, Detroit muscle, American Legends and Special Interest cars displayed along Fifth Avenue in the Gaslamp Quarter.

Must-see attractions include dozens of American muscle cars centered in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, as well as classic and new Ferraris and Maseratis lined up outside The Keating Hotel, the boutique hotel known for its design by Pininfarina. Also not to be missed are the collectors’ vehicles prized by the Classic Car Club of America – beautifully restored Cadillacs and Packards, to name a few, and other rare, exotic cars spectacularly displayed along Fifth Avenue, just north of Market Street. 

Each block of Fifth Avenue between E Street and Market Street will be a dedicated car salon for each specific class, totaling three car salons with over 30 supercars from many domestic and exotic automakers all of which are sure to satisfy even the most discerning auto aficionado. 

The First Annual Fifth Avenue Auto Showcase is free and open to the public. Head to the Gaslamp Quarter on Sunday, October 11 from 12 – 4pm. You see these cars cruising through Gaslamp every weekend, now witness them battle for such awards as People’s Choice Award and Best in Show Award.
