Gallery Reception to Honor Fiesta del Sol San Diego Art Competition Winners

The winners of the 2007 Fiesta Del Sol San Diego Art Competition will be featured at the Ricardo Vela Studio Gallery. This years winners are, first place: Ruth Salazar, second place: Conchita Vesco, and third place: Santos Orellana.The honorary art reception will include wine tasting, light hors d’oeuvres, and great music.The winning work will be in exhibition and for sale until October 30, 2007.


The Fiesta Del Sol San Diego Art Competition is a portion of the large Arts and Culture Pavilion at the Fiesta that highlights the work of many local artists while engaging the San Diego community in hands-on live art. This year, in addition to the competition, the pavilion featured an art-walk, live graffiti art workshop, spoken word by Los Bilingual Writers, and Art Miles Community murals.

 

When: Saturday, October 6th from 6-10pm
