Every year the Gaslamp Quarter Association hosts an adorable holiday event catered to pet lovers across the county. The Gaslamp Holiday Pet Parade will bring a festive parade, pet expo and variety of costume contests to downtown San Diego this Sunday, December 9.
Bring your dogs, cats, bunnies, lizards, birds and other furry, feathered or scaled friends to Gaslamp Hilton Park on the corner of 4th Avenue and K Street. The parade begins at 3pm, cruising under the Gaslamp Quarter sign up 5th Avenue. After the parade, participants and onlookers will meet up for the pet expo to tour pet-friendly booths and take photos with Santa. Proud parents should sign up for one of many festive pet costume contests for prizes and bragging rights. The pet expo is free and open to the public from 1 to 5pm.
To participate in the parade, the online price is $15 per pet and owner duo. The price will raise to $20 on Sunday, but you can register on-site. For more information, visit gaslamp.org.
