Inwood Hill Consulting Group and EXY Restaurant present Gift from the Gods, a Greek themed silent and live auction event benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) on Thursday, May 8th from 6 to 10pm.
Do your part to support cystic fibrosis research and care. To RSVP for $10 tickets, visit InwoodHill.com.
Gift from the Gods will present diverse auction items on theme with the twelve Greek gods. The event begins at 6pm with hosted EXY hors d'oeuvres until 7pm, and the interactive auctions follow until 10pm. The auction will echo the legendary characteristics of the famed Olympians: Zeus, Poseidon, Apollo, and Aphrodite - with a modern, localized twist.
Top auction items include, but are not limited to, bottle service at THIN/Onyx, a one night stay at the Hard Rock Hotel courtesy of Wonderland Tickets & Concierge, a round of golf and dinner for two at Sycuan Resort and Casino, and an array of massages, herbal body wraps, and reflexology treatments from Ancient Wisdom Holistic Health Center.
Gift from the Gods channels Apollo, the Greek god of healing and medicine, and represents the Olympian sized fundraising goal of a good friend and CF patient, Leslie Petrone. Inwood Hills President Eli Martinez shares, "The vision of Gift from the Gods was inspired by my friend and CF patient Leslie Petrone. At 46 years of age, she's more than beat the life expectancy odds. This year her group has pledged to raise $100K for CFF and the Great Strides walk on May 18."
EXY is San Diego's favorite downtown spot for chic Greek cuisine. Chef Carter and founder George Katakalidis serve a menu packed with innovative twists on traditional favorites, and the cutting-edge sophisticated experience has quickly become a staple on Gaslamp restaurant row. The authentic elegance of Greece resonates in the spacious dining room and bar lounge, and the party spirit is sure to come alive with Gift from the Gods this Thursday evening.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) is the leading organization in the United States devoted to cystic fibrosis (CF). The foundation now accredits over 115 centers and 50 affiliate programs, and donates .90 cents of every dollar raised to CF research and care, forever changing the lives of patients and families affected by the disease. Before the foundation was established in 1955, CF children were not expected to live old enough to attend elementary school, and now the average survival age is 37.
Gift from the Gods hopes to raise $8,000 to benefit the CFF cause. Do your part to support cystic fibrosis research and care this Thursday, May 8 from 6 to 10pm at EXY.
