House of Blues has been celebrating 20 years of concerts around the country through a 20-month series of parties – something only true rock stars could and would do. Now, San Diego jumps on board with the commemorative events, throwing their own bash this Thursday, March 7. At House of Blues San Diego, you’ll find an exclusive VIP Cocktail Event coinciding with the sold-out Flogging Molly show and a can’t-miss after party.
Those lucky enough to secure a Flogging Molly ticket will experience the revelry firsthand. At the close of the show, a balloon drop will commence the after party, taking place in the Delta Room. Rumor has it that the guys from Flogging Molly will stick around to hang with fans and continue the entertainment. No ticket to the show? All are invited to stop by for drink specials, giveaways, free cupcakes and of course, more live music in Crossroads Restaurant and the Voodoo Lounge.
The very first House of Blues came into existence at Harvard Square. In 20 years, they’ve rocked the way music can be seen and heard, as legendary stars have passed through the nationally-successful venues. House of Blues San Diego has proven its own value to the brand, showcasing a massive span of rhythm and blues, hip-hop, acoustic, country, rock n’ roll, jazz, electronic and many more genres on stage.
For every ticket sold to this show, and for the other House of Blues 20th Anniversary concerts, $1 will go towards supporting “Action for the Arts”, which provides arts and music support to underprivileged youth.
Join in the 20th anniversary celebrations from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. at House of Blues San Diego. For more information, visit houseofblues.com
