Come Wednesday, May 14th this little neighborhood is giving you a taste of their best with their First Annual Taste of Little Italy. Discover the varied palate of dining possibilities as you enjoy samples offered by the best Little Italy restaurants. Stroll the main drag of India Street from 5 to 9pm and enjoy appetizers, desserts, and specialty beverages offered by the locals, and find out what Little Italy is all about.

More than 26 Little Italy restaurants are taking to the streets for this neighborhood tasting event including Anthology, Buon Appetito, Caffe Italia, Cefalu's Pizza, Filippi's Pizza Grotto, Petrini's, Rice at the W San Diego, Zagarella Italian Restaurant and many others.

Restaurant doors will be open and aiming to please. For a few examples, taste Anthology's grilled pear with capucino ganache or grilled peach with sweet and spicy BBQ. Or at Buon Appetito's sophisticated smoked chicken with sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms in a white cream sauce. Head over to Caffe Italia for some perfected Italian cappuccinos and their signature Italia blend house coffee. Or for an Italian classic, hit up Filippi's Pizza Grotto for pizza and sandwiches. As always, expect the biggest crowd outside Filippi's.

The options are endless and sure to please so this Wednesday, May 14th make your way to Little Italy for a taste that will have you gracing the neighborhood on a regular basis.
