For the 7th consecutive year, San Diego's Downtown Rotaract Club (SDDR) continues to support the search for the cure of Juvenile Diabetes, a growing disease that affects over 13,000 new child patients each year.
In honor of the cause, SDDR announces the annual Jazz for Juvenile Diabetes event, scheduled for December 1st, 2007, at Minus 1 Lounge at The Keating Hotel in downtown San Diego. This charitable event will feature live jazz music from The Elliot Lawrence Trio, culinary delights, and an elaborate silent auction area. The 2007 benefit is expected to draw over 200 guests who will enjoy live music and bid on an impressive array of auction items, donated by San Diego restaurants, hotels, spas, and corporations.
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is the leading charitable advocate of type 1 juvenile diabetes research worldwide. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the research.
