Collie Buddz at The Belly Up – November 1
Stuck on your beach playlist? You’re in luck as Collie Buddz brings his reggae vibes to The Belly Up. As an artist who grew up in Bermuda, his sounds and styling set him apart from the rest. You know him from his singles “Come Around,” “Mamacita” and the “Ring the Alarm Remix” with Beyonce. He’ll be joined by New Kingston, Los Rakas, Naja Kete and DJ Carlos Culture. NEEDTOBREATHE at Humphreys Concerts by the Bay – November 1
Since their latest album The Reckoning debuted at #6 on the Billboard Top 200, NEEDTOBREATH has been captivating critics and fans across the board. Rob Machado Foundation Benefit at The Belly Up – November 12
Head to The Belly Up for an evening of good music for a good cause. The benefit will feature an acoustic performance by John Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls, Jon Foreman of Switchfoot and Jon Swift. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit The Rob Machado Foundation, a non-profit surfer Machado founded in 2004 as a way to support environmental programs worldwide. Show: 8pm; Doors: 7pm. $40+. Wiz Khalifa at RIMAC Arena – November 14
Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa brings his 2050 Tour to RIMAC Arena at UC San Diego. The show has Taylor Gang members Juicy J, Chevy Woods, Lola Monroe, Tuki Carter and Berner along for the ride. Khalifa is currently celebrating the success of his Platinum single “Work Hard, Play Hard” from his sophomore album O.N.I.F.C. Walk the Moon at House of Blues – November 14
91X and The Casbah present Walk the Moon at House of Blues San Diego. The indie rock band’s first self-titled album shows off their electrifying energy, but nothing that can compare to seeing their notoriously wild live shows. Rush at Valley View Casino Center – November 21
No band compares to legendary Canadian progressive rock trio Rush. Since the ‘70s, these guys have cut out their own signature sound, first defying norms and later setting the standards for rock. Their latest Clockwork Angels is the first in five years, an ambitious concept album that takes on some classic Rush sets of the ‘70s and ‘80s. Trey Songz at Valley View Casino Center – November 24
Trey Songz brings his smooth, sexy voice to the Valley View Casino Center on the Chapter V World Tour. His latest album – the fifth in his career – has propelled him on a 25-date international tour with a one-night stop in San Diego this month. He’ll be joined by Miguel & The Kaleidoscope Dream Experience, as well as Elle Varner. Whether it’s “Say Ahh” or “Bottom’s Up,” Songz sure knows how to swoon the ladies. The Cataracs at SOMA – November 24
On the Roll the Dice Tour, the infectious sounds of The Cataracs go from your headphones to the live stage. Ever since “Like a G6” hit the airwaves, the Cataracs have solidified themselves as masters of dance songs that we just can’t get enough of.
