Rock On: Pete Yorn, Collie Buddz & Blues Traveler at Belly Up

Posted On : 9/14/2010 by Ryan Eisenacher

The internationally acclaimed Belly Up Tavern has continually been voted “San Diego’s Best Live Music Venue” and heralded as one of the hottest clubs on the west coast by Rolling Stone Magazine. Located in the Design District of the hippie-turned-high-class town of Solana Beach, locals and visitors alike know that the Belly Up is a tried and true North County treasure.

Since 1974, the Belly Up has hosted a wealth of both local and big-name artists, ranging from alternative, rock and reggae to hip hop, folk and jazz. To top it off, the Tavern's impressively intimate and humble interior make it a perfect place to kick back with a beer and hear some killer tunes with friends.

Hungry during a show? Belly Up offers a delectable bar menu as well as a full service bistro-style restaurant next door. Why not wine, dine and skip the line? Head into the Belly Up’s quaint bistro restaurant the Wild Note Café for some quality Pacific Coastal/Mexican fusion cuisine and you walk right to the front of the line.
