Salon Radius celebrates its sixth anniversary by hosting its first annual Eye Candy Hair & Fashion Show to benefit Invisible Children, a non-profit, committed to peace in northern Uganda, on Thursday, September 18 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The Eye Candy Hair & Fashion Show will be in the upstairs atrium above Salon Radius. While the nationally renowned salon showcases the latest trends in hair and makeup, models will fashion the latest fall looks provided by Jedidiah, Sundancer Boutique, Pink Lagoon, and L.A. Fairchild.
"We couldn't find any better way to celebrate our anniversary then by raising money for a charity that has been embraced by both our staff and clients," said David Linde, co-owner of Salon Radius. "Invisible Children has held a soft spot for everyone at Salon Radius for many years … help us raise money for this amazing cause."
The fashion show's theme is candy, as "Eye Candy" will be showcased throughout the evening. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Mr. Biggs, while food will be hosted by leading Del Mar restaurants: Pasquale Del Mar and Pacifica Del Mar.
Salon Radius has been named one of America's Top 20 Salons by Salon Today Magazine for excellence in full-service hair and makeup applications, and also sells tee-shirts and bracelets in its retail boutique to benefit the Spring Valley-based goodwill nonprofit.
There will be no charge for entry into the event, but donations will be accepted. VIP seating will also be available for $75 per person. All proceeds from the hair and fashion show will go to Invisible Children (invisiblechildren.com). The salon hopes to have 200+ guests with a profit of $10,000 for the locally-based charity.
RSVPs are requested by Monday, September 15 by calling 858.755.4947. For more information, please call or visit San Diego Salon Radius in Del Mar. (pictured)
