The San Diego County Young Democrats are saying goodbye to George W. at the W Hotel to celebrate the inauguration of President Barack Obama on January 20, 2009 from 7:30pm to 1:30am.

As the highly anticipated inauguration airs at the revamped San Diego W Hotel, local Democrats will sip politically themed cocktails and soak in American history in the making. And if you miss the first round, check out the inauguration re-played at 9pm. If you're a Democrat in the San Diego area, the W Hotel is your headquarters on January 20th.

From the Magnet Bar to the Living Room lounge, the W Hotel will offer inauguration inspired cocktails at happy hour drink prices, and RICE Restaurant will also be open for hungry Democrats working up an appetite.

"Obama has inspired a huge number of young people to be interested in politics, both nationally, and in San Diego," said David Gersz, president of the San Diego County Young Democrats. "We wanted to make sure that Obama's supporters would have a central place to celebrate for this historic night."
