Built for the 1935 California Pacific International Exposition, the picturesque Spanish Village Art Center recreates a quaint village in Spain to provide space for 37 working artist studio/galleries. Just about every kind of hand-crafted art form is represented at the Art Center, including painting, sculpture, metalwork, jewelry, ceramics, glass work, gourd art, printmaking, photography, and fiber art.

Not in the market to buy original art? Then pack a picnic lunch and laptop and enjoy the Village’s free Wi-Fi hotspot in the middle of its colorful flagstone-covered courtyard. Fourth Thursdays feature food, drink, and entertainment, as part of Art After Hours until 9:00 p.m.
