Miller Lite presents the 4th annual Stay Classy Tailgate Party – an all-day music festival with beer gardens, carnival games, VIP Padres access and a charitable twist – at PETCO Park on July 18.

The 2009 Tailgate Party is bigger and better than ever before, with a new venue and insane entertainment lineup. The Tailgate Party will take place in and around PETCO Park, featuring a concert stage inside the Park and a block-long beer garden on J Street with local DJs. Keep cruising down “J” to discover a street fair with food and carnival games for fans of all ages. As the Tailgate comes to a close, party-goers will head to PETCO Park for the ballgame, and then on to The Fleetwood for the official after party.

Tailgate Lineup: On stage at PETCO will be Del the Funky Homosapien, Cage the Elephant, The Kneehighs, and Vokab Kompany. Taking over The Fleetwood stage are San Diego’s favorite DJs, including Chris Clouse, G*Roy, Theron, Scooter, Chris Cutz, Fresh One, and Mikey Beats. 

Tailgate Cause: Stay Classy always ensures you can party for a cause. The Tailgate Party is in support of the Stay Classy Campaign for Abandoned Youth. When you buy a Tailgate ticket, $1 automatically goes towards the cause: a shelter for homeless kids in San Diego that have been abandoned, sexually exploited and subjected to domestic violence. With each year Stay Classy expands and enhances the Tailgate Party. Last year, we kept it classy just outside PETCO with live performances by Flobots, Dirty Sweet, and Lady Dottie and the Diamonds, checked out the Padres take on the Braves, and continued onto the wild after party at The Fleetwood, all in support of the Elemental Experience Foundation.
