Country-music will be featured in a big way this summer and fall at Sleep Train Amphitheatre (the venue formerly known as Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre, and — before that — Coors Amphitheatre) in Chula Vista.
Headliners coming to the venue this year include Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan and Rascal Flatts. All but Rascal Flatts will feature two opening acts at each of their concerts here. (See below for full list of acts and dates.) Urban's show here is unlikely to feature vocal cameos by his "American Idol" co-hosts Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Randy Jackson.
It is not yet known when single tickets for each concert will go on sale. However, Megaticket packages go on sale Saturday, Jan. 26, at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster for these five upcoming country shows.
June 7: Tim McGraw, with Brantley Gilbert & Love and Theft
Aug. 11: Luke Bryan, with Thompson Square & Florida Georgia Line
Sept. 28: Keith Urban, with Little Big Town & Dustin Lynch
Oct. 18: Jason Aldean, with Jake Owen & Thomas Rhett
The Megaticket packages go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster. They will only be available for a limited time and only online. The Lawn Package costs $155 per person (plus fees). It includes one unreserved lawn ticket for each of the five country shows listed above and general lot parking for one car. The Premium Ticket package costs $650 per person (plus fees) and includes one reserved ticket for each of the five country shows listed above, access for one into the Country Megaticket Lounge and preferred lot parking for one car.
