Welcome to the first of many exciting San Diego sports and social updates from us here at VAVi!

For those of you not living under a rock, you already know that summer sports excitement is in the air - the Lakers are battling the Celtics in a classic NBA Finals rivalry, Tiger Woods came back to force a playoff in the US Open, and the US Soccer team is on fire. On a more local scale, the competition is heating up all across San Diego in VAVi's leagues - kickball and dodgeball aren't just for kids any more! And our Coed Flag Football league in Pacific Beach is giving the NFL a run for its money (well, maybe that's a stretch!)

So how can you get in the game? If you haven't been there already, check out the VAVi website here and sign up for our newsletter. We'll send you a weekly update of what's going on in San Diego. And we do more than just run sports leagues; we're always looking to keep our members posted on all the great upcoming sporting and social events in San Diego. June started off strong with City Chase, QUASH and the Rock 'N Roll Marathon (congrats to Blake and the VAVi running club!). This coming weekend, you can join us as we "Crawl to the Park" with The Local and then get "Singled Out" at the Fleetwood Summer Kick Off Party.
