Attention San Diego foodies, it’s time to pass your cooking skills to your little ones! Tender Greens welcomes kids and teens for the tastiest summer camp in San Diego: MicroGreens Kids Cooking Camp.
If your young one is interested in the culinary arts, this is the summer camp for you. MicroGreens Kids Cooking Camp offers two 5-day summer sessions from 9-10:30am.
June 22-26 – for kids ages 7-11
July 27-31 – for teens ages 12-16
Chef Pete Balistreri and Pastry Momma Susanna Brandenburg of Tender Greens are hosting a fun and nutritious kids cooking camp this summer. From “Eat Your Vegetables” on day 1 to “Pizza My Heart” on day 2 and “Sweet Tooth” on day 5, this is one 5-day summer camp that is sure to keep your kids satisfied. Kids from ages 7 to 16 will join Pete and Susanna in the Tender Greens kitchen in the morning before the lunch rush and learn how to make a variety of different dishes, highlighting local, sustainable, high quality ingredients such as salads and dressings, pizza, sandwiches, sauces, jams and ice cream.
Tender Greens is a popular eatery famous for its fresh, garden-to-table, sustainable cuisine and casual, airy atmosphere at Liberty Station in Point Loma.
