The 2010 Adams Avenue Street Fair is invading Normal Heights on September 25th and 26th.
As one of the largest free street musical fairs in California, this year’s annual event is set to host some highly lauded fun and excitement. Throughout the course of the weekend, locals and visitors alike will have the opportunity to enjoy over 70 live music acts on 6 stages, three beer gardens, an array of giant fun-filled carnival rides and 300 craft & food vendors.
Street Fair-goers will enjoy a variety of musical genres including blues, folk, indie, reggae, rock, jazz and zydeco. AASF is slated to include a host of musical acts including acoustic rock trio the Howls, singer/songwriter and blues harmonica player James Harman, jazz-funk keyboardist Robert Walter, and foursome rock band Scarlet Symphony. One of the most notable performers is legendary San Diego singer-songwriter Jack Tempchin (pictured) who has written and co-written classic songs for the Eagles, Johnny Rivers and Glenn Frey.
