Without a doubt, this has been an extremely eventful year for Charlie Sheen. No matter what part of the world you live in, you have certainly heard word of Sheen’s tirades and tantrums. Things began to go insanely downwards after Sheen was fired from “Two and A Half Men,” a popular sitcom he starred in for eight successful seasons. Instead of dealing gracefully, Sheen chose to go on what many suspect was a drug-fueled rampage, providing plenty of roast inspiration.
Comedy Central hosted the first ever Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen, which took place this week and will air for the public on Monday, September 19 at 10/9c. The roast will address many topics, from Sheen’s drug use to his fall out with his former boss.
Leading the roast is Emmy award-winner Seth MacFarlane, who kicked things off with the following comment: “Charlie is a true icon with a talent that is strong and pure and concentrated into small crystals which can be smoked or eaten.” Fellow roasters include Anthony Jeselnik, Jon Lovitz, Steve-O, Patrice O’Neal, Jeff Ross, William Shatner, Amy Schumer, Slash, Kate Walsh, and Mike Tyson.
Rumor has it that Sheen’s estranged wife Brooke Mueller will make an appearance, which is sure to make for an interesting evening after Sheen’s debacles with his so-called “goddesses,” one of whom is an adult entertainer and the other holds the proud title of “Miss Chronic Girl 2010.”
One thing is for certain, this will be one entertaining roast since the self-proclaimed Warlock has sparked enough controversy to provide everyone with material for years to come. For more information, visit comedycentral.com.
