The Schmooze San Diego Brings Networking to BASIC

The Schmooze San Diego takes networking to the next level with bi-monthly social events focused on fostering relationships between professionals in the hospitality and related service industries.


As The Schmooze takes over one of the hottest lounges, hotels or restaurants in San Diego, you mix, mingle and sample some of San Diego's finest atmospheres and aperitifs.


DiscoverSD.com is a proud sponsor of the upcoming Schmooze event on Thursday, November 13 from 5-7pm at BASIC Urban Kitchen and Bar in East Village. Schmooze events are completely free and are open to all industry professionals in and around San Diego. Before Monday, November 10, RSVP here.


From hotel management to event planners, The Schmooze brings all hospitality professionals together. This is a great opportunity for seasoned professionals and for novices in the industry to share experiences and further their careers on a personal level.


BASIC is an industrial-chic warehouse bar and restaurant located on 10th Avenue in East Village. For urban nightlife and incredible pizza, nothing beats BASIC. Industry veteran, Jon Mangini, founded the BASIC concept. Mangini started in the service/restaurant industry on the East Coast with CB5 Restaurant Group. In 2003 he came to San Diego to help launch the restaurant concept at the W Hotel, before branching off to open BASIC.
