Turn back the clock both literally and figuratively this weekend at the Seventh Annual Union Bank Fall Back Festival.
Cowboys and girls of all ages are welcome to join in the fun at the Downtown San Diego street fair on 4th Avenue and Island, in front of the William Heath Davis House.
This years festivities include: A Wild West shootout, Native American tribal dances, a Western comedy, Mexican folk songs and a puppet show. You can also learn how to pan for gold, help a blacksmith forge a horse shoe and ride a pony.
Dick's Last Resort is providing hot dogs, and Marble Slab is throwing in free ice cream scoops for kids under 12. There will also be open museums and educational booths set up for the more intellectually inclined, who want to learn more about San Diego's rich history.
Tickets are $5 at the door, and this year's proceeds go to the Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation.
