Listen up: the San Diego House of Blues will feature They Might be Giants next Thursday, October 14th. Best known for their quirky and unconventional style of alternative music, They Might Be Giants is definitely up-beat. During the 80's, these guys were big on the college circuit with hits such as "Birdhouse in Your Soul", "Don't Let's Start" and "Ana Ng".
The 90's brought them a whole new audience when featured on the Warner Brothers hit cartoon Tiny Toons with "Particle Man" and "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)". At the turn of the century, They Might be Giants changed their focus to television, earning themselves a Grammy for their song "Boss of Me", the theme for Fox's comedy series "Malcolm in the Middle".
Most recently, they've turned to yet another generation and put out a series of children's albums directed at amusing the children - while not annoying the sanity out of the parent.
They point is, They Might Be Giants have made a career out of being a decidedly positive segment in the lives of multiple generations.
