Although Ashton Kutcher himself did not make an appearance at THREAD 13, the Fashion and Lifestyle Show at Balboa Park's Aerospace Museum, thousands of San Diego shoppers were respectfully punk'd.

THREAD is an independent fashion event that showcased up-and-coming designers and the music and art that inspires them. The cultural backdrop highlighted free 'punk over' haircuts by Disconnected Hair Salon, an original art show presented by gallery District 117, a sneaker boutique by Blends, and guest DJ's spinning beats in the lush getaway from 944 Lounge.

Four runway shows featured select clothing and accessories for men and women from 80 emerging fashion designers all day long. Attendees had the chance to spot new spring styles by Yoga Army, Taxi CDC, Vintage Vantage, and many more on the runway and on generous racks throughout the museum.

THREAD is the self-proclaimed most-buzzed-about fashion event, with additional locations in Seattle and Bristol, UK--and this buzz is no joke.
