Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel Engagement

While many thought this famous duo was headed for splits-ville after their three month break in 2011, it appears the naysayers were completely wrong. Us Magazine revealed that Justin Timberlake proposed to Jessica Biel in late December, on a snowboarding trip to Wyoming. After four and a half years of dating, the talented two are now dedicated to taking their relationship to a new level.

Mario Lopez & Courtney Mazzo Engagement

Mario Lopez, host of “Extra,” proposed to Courtney Mazzo during New Year’s weekend and the lucky lady accepted his offer. The engagement doesn’t come as too large of a surprise since the pair has been together since 2008 and are parents to two-year old Gia. Lopez revealed to Us Weekly that he popped the question in Ixtapa, Mexico and “told Courtney that I wanted the mother of my children to have their last name.”

LeBron James & Savannah Brixton Engagement

Basketball star LeBron James had a special New Year’s Eve surprise for his longtime girlfriend: a huge pear-shaped diamond ring! They were at a REMY MARTIN V dinner at the Shelborne Hotel in South Beach when the Miami Heat player asked for Brixton’s hand in marriage. James and Brixton have been together since the age of 16 and have two children.

Michael Jordan & Yvette Prieto Engagement

Michael Jordan, the icon and mogul of basketball, recently announced his engagement to girlfriend of three years, Yvette Prieto. The proposal occurred over Christmas weekend and is hitting the gossip world as we speak. Jordan ended his previous marriage with Juanita Vacoy in 2006. It seems that love was found once more as Jordan rings in the New Year with his engagement to Cuban model Prieto.

Russell Brand Denies Split with Katy Perry

 The internet and magazines have been flooding with news that Katy Perry and Russell Brand have officially called it quits by filing for divorce. However, that seems to not be the case. Brand was recently quoted in Us Magazine as saying “I’ve treated the whole internet like it’s a wicked little liar. Yeah. I am really happily married…perpetually; til death do us part was the pledge.” Katy has also been defending the marriage via Twitter. While they are still technically married, only the future can show what will happen next.
