You know the saying: "Time flies when you're having fun"? Never has that statement had more meaning than the summer of '08.

Come join us to celebrate one of the few remaining weekends of summer, along with thousands of other fun-seeking San Diegans. Keep an eye out for the VAVi Canopy - you can't miss the bright yellow and blue. So what next, you ask? VAVi RECESS is Thursday, August 28 at Sandbar in Mission Beach. Head to Sandbar, starting at 6pm, and meet up with other local VAVi supporters for a rowdy night of games, drinks, food, and fun. RECESS will also feature an evening of Twister.Yes, you heard that right, TWISTER! Last time we broke out the twister set, things got a little wild - check it out for yourself...

Immediately following RECESS is VAVi's Annual Day at the Races at Del Mar on Friday, August 29. And if you're too tired for work after a long night of Twister (ahem...), you'll have plenty of time to rest up for 4 O'clock Friday at the track. VAVi has free tickets to the races, along with a huge VIP section, enabling you to save money and avoid the crowds with private betting windows and a private bar.
