Taste of Downtown – 9/8
Summer is officially over, which means it’s time to indulge all your culinary cravings. During Taste of Downtown over 55 local restaurants will serve samples of signature dishes. Taste of Main Street Encinitas – 9/8
When is the last time you traveled north for your foodie adventure? The coastal community of Encinitas is home to an array of delicious restaurants, including Union Kitchen + Tap, Lumberyard Tavern & Grill, Honey’s Bistro, Vigilucci’s and more. Fashion’s Night Out at Fashion Valley – 9/8
Taking the new season’s trends off the racks and onto the runway, Fashion Valley will host Fashion’s Night Out. This free event is part of a national series that tours over 100 cities nationwide in celebration of fall fashion. San Diego Festival of Beer in Little Italy – 9/9
One of the oldest and largest beer festivals in town, the San Diego Festival of Beer joins together 6,000 local beer lovers to enjoy samplings from 70 craft breweries, paired with live music in an urban street atmosphere. San Diego Music Thing at Lafayette Hotel – 9/9-10
This weekend conference and festival aims to recognize what’s happening within the music industry now and what we can expect to see, and hear, in the future. In addition to live concerts all over town, San Diego Music Thing boasts a lineup of industry panelists, including punk legend Jello Biafra from Alternative Tentacles Records and the infamous Dead Kennedys and Michael Addicott from Pandora. Monte Carlo Goes Burlesque at MCASD – 9/10
Monte Carlo is a celebration of the San Diego arts community, and a fundraiser for MCASD exhibitions and educational programs. But no museum soiree is complete without an intriguing theme. Ocean Beach Music & Art Festival – 9/10
The 6th Annual Jazz 88 Ocean Beach Music & Art Festival is taking over this chill beach town on Saturday, featuring premier Jazz talent from around the nation, as well as Latin Jazz, Blues, Funk, Alternative Rock and more.
