San Diego County Fair at Del Mar Fairgrounds – Friday, June 8

The San Diego County Fair returns to the Del Mar Fairgrounds on Friday, June 8. This summer, the Fair is themed ‘Out Of This World’ and will explore the wonder of outer space through new carnival rides, interactive games, outdoor concerts, fried food, animal shows, art exhibits and much more. Carlsbad Beach Fest – Saturday, June 9

The Carlsbad Beach Fest is an annual summer event with a multitude of activities spread along a mile of sandy beach from Pine Avenue to Tamarack State Beach, including swim and surf, dance and fitness, sand-sculpting and kite-flying, and of course, simple sun bathing. LMFAO Sorry for Party Rocking Tour at Valley View Casino Center – Saturday, June 9

The American electro-pop duo LMFAO is taking over Valley View Casino Center this weekend. Redfoo and SkyBlu are bringing their ‘Sorry for Party Rocking’ tour to San Diego, a dynamic concert that will also feature opening performances by Far East Movement, Sidney Samson and Eva Simons. LMFAO DJ Set at Voyeur – Saturday, June 9

Welcome to the Jungle at Ivy Nightclub – Saturday, June 9

The Andaz Hotel is encouraging locals to unleash their inner party animals on Saturday night. ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ will feature live animal body painting by Mr. Bodypaint, and anyone who wears animal hood attire will get hooked up with extra drink specials. Taste of Gaslamp – June 9 & 10

I hope you’re hungry; Taste of Gaslamp is a two-day culinary tour through downtown San Diego restaurants. Head to the Gaslamp and taste sample dishes from 30 restaurants on Saturday or Sunday, from 1 to 4pm. Featured restaurants include the new barleymash, La Puerta, Blue Point Coastal Cuisine, The Melting Pot, Whiskey Girl and Soleil @k at the Marriott. Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas – June 8-10

Bass heads are traveling to Sin City for the Electric Daisy Carnival, an electronic music festival taking place on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. On the EDC lineup are big name DJs with mass appeal: Tiesto, Avicii, Afrojack, Calvin Harris, Kaskade, David Guetta and two-thirds of Swedish House Mafia -- Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello.
