Wine & Dine attracts hundreds of urban professionals and community members dedicated to making a difference for San Diego seniors. Besides tasting award-winning vintages, micro-brews and delicious cuisine, the event hosts one of the most exciting auctions in town. At the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego guests will sample bites from such restaurants as Nobu, Quarter Kitchen, Urban Solace, The Melting Pot and Trulucks Seafood and Steakhouse; and soak in the spirits of Wine Steals, Pizza Port, Hope Wine, Silver Oaks Cellars, Stone Brewing, Dopamine, Tequila Los Abuelos and more.

The 2008 Wine & Dine event raised more than $190,000, with every dollar spent to help low-income, homebound and frail San Diego seniors. In its 35 year history, ElderHelp of San Diego has assisted over 80,000 older San Diegans and their families through care management, grocery shopping, home share, information and referrals, as well as elder abuse information and education. Last year alone, more than 5,000 seniors were helped. Every cost that is underwritten increases the proceeds from this event and last year we successfully raised over $190,000 enabling hundreds of seniors to stay in their homes.
