Between the 35,000 rolling acres of vineyards and 30 member wineries, Temecula Valley makes every intention of welcoming guests into a world of wine. Vineyards, tours, tastings, and more encompass this hour drive from San Diego, cherished for transporting visitors into a wine-filled paradise.
Ready for a taste? The annual World of Wine event, or simply, WoW, returns March 3rd and 4th as various wineries throughout Temecula Valley open up their cellar doors in a unique barrel tasting affair.
Once settled into the splendor of wine country, guests of WoW will be handed a map of romantic Temecula Valley and a passport that indicates the participating wineries and their exclusive offers. Wandering through a self-guided wine country tour to 30 wineries, adventurous participants will be offered varietal wines from the barrel, the tank, or the bottle. In addition, each of the wines will be paired with complementary food samplings. To remember the expedition, guests will leave with a special souvenir glass.
Stay and Play: To enjoy the ultimate staycation in Temecula, WoW has partnered with transportation companies to provide packages that include tickets to the WoW event and rides to and from the wineries. Guests can contact Executive VIP Shuttle, The Grapeline Wine Country Shuttle, or West Coast Chauffeur & Transportation for more information. WoW has also partnered with area hotels to provide packages. Those include Embassy Suites Temecula Valley Wine Country, South Coast Winery Resort & Spa, and Temecula Creek Inn.
On both days, WoW is held from 10am to 4:30pm. This popular event typically sells out, so early ticket purchases are encouraged. Two-day tickets are $99 per person and can be purchased online.
WoW is produced by the Temecula Valley Winegrower’s Association. Learn more at temeculawines.org
