World Series of Poker at Harrah's Casino

Whether you’re an avid gambler or just feeling lucky, Harrah’s Rincon Casino & Resort invites you to compete for a chance to participate in the World Series of Poker National Championship. Should you make it that far; you just may win the million dollar Las Vegas tournament and the WSOP Gold Bracelet. But, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Here’s the deal: The World Series of Poker Circuit tour will be at Harrah’s Rincon Casino and Resort from March 10 – 30, 2011. Not only will the world-famous Circuit tour be stopping by, but Harrah’s is also scheduled to be the location of the first Regional WSOP Circuit Championship event. The Western Regional event on March 27th features a $10,000 buy-in and 2 hours of TV coverage by ESPN.

Of all who participate in this event, a select 100 players will automatically qualify to move on to the National Championship. There are four ways to go about qualifying. First, you can qualify if you are the “Casino Champion”, a title you obtain by winning the most points at any of the Circuit tour’s 10 official ring events. The second way to qualify is by winning any of the $1,500 Main Event games on the Circuit tour. You can also qualify if you make the final table at any of the Regional Championships. The last way to qualify is to gain enough points throughout the entire Circuit tour stop to make it into the Top 36 cumulative point standings.
