San Diego nightlife connoisseurs know the Hard Rock Hotel is the venue epitome of rock star chic.
From Moonstone Lounge to Sweetwater Saloon, Friday night to Intervention Sunday, patrons are always welcomed with edgy entertainment. Unfortunately we aren't always given praise for our social imbibing. Until now.
Starting in October, 2008, the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego will launch its Pink Sheets campaign, so guests can rest assured knowing they are getting into bed for a good cause.
Pink Sheets is part of Hard Rock Hotel's ninth annual Pinktober breast cancer awareness campaign, a philanthropic initiative created to support organizations in the fight against breast cancer through the sales of a collectible Pinktober pins, key chains, and t-shirts. A series of live music concerts at events at Hard Rock establishments around the world is also an element of Pinktober.
Along with T.Y.Group, a leading manufacturer of luxury linens and amenities for the hospitality industry, the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego will outfit a select number of rooms in pink-hued sheets, a specially created version of the Hard Rock Hotel brand's Sleep Like A Rock bedding collection.
Hard Rock International will donate 25% of the room rate to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for all stays during the month of October 2008. Also, as a turn down amenity, guests will receive one of Hard Rock's limited edition 2008 Pinktober Breast Cancer Awareness pins. When you stay in a "Pink Sheets" room, you are helping to promote not only the fight against breast cancer, but the campaign for awareness.
This October, party at Moonstone Lounge and rest your head on Hard Rock plush pink sheets in support of the Pinktober campaign. Make your reservation at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego here.
