Summer Concerts & Free Wine Tasting at The Grand Del Mar

Do you dream of a San Diego summer full of Grammy-scale performances, complimentary wine tasting, and delicious rum and tequila cocktails? Your dreams will come true at Club M, the swanky entertainment venue located within The Grand Del Mar Resort.

Beyond a basic hotel lounge, Club M features a chic nightclub, laid-back sports bar, delicious daily dining, as well as a perfect area for private parties. For those eager to explore the new nightclub, their first ever Summer Concert Series is fast approaching, and that’s just the beginning of a big season of fun.

The summer concert series at Club M starts off strong on Memorial Day Weekend with a live performance by Grammy-Award winner Sheena Easton. This multi-dimensional artist is the first in all of history to succeed in topping each of the 6 key Billboard chart categories: Dance, Pop, Contemporary, Country, R&B, and Adult. This talented singer will be performing at Club M on Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28.

Next up on the agenda is Carols Reyes, an extremely talented musician from Paraguay. This artist mastered the art of the harp and violin at an exceptionally early age and went on to join the Oakland Symphony. After this experience, Reyes went to work in the professional recording industry, topping Billboard charts and sharing his music with enthusiasts through world-wide tours. You will be able to enjoy his sweet jazz tunes at Club M on Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4.

Steve Tyrell, Grammy award winning jazz vocalist, is set to be the following featured performer at Club M. This artist has topped the Billboard jazz charts with all seven of his albums and collaborated with legends such as Ray Charles and Smokey Robinson. Tyrell has achieved great success as a musician, producer, songwriter, and performer. This respected artist will be performing at Club M on Friday, July 29, Saturday July 30, Friday August 5, Saturday August 6, Friday September 2, and Saturday September 3.

More Summer Fun: In addition to the concert series, complimentary wine tastings will be occurring at Club M on all Fridays between the dates of May 13 to July 1. Join Wine Director Tastings Jesse Rodriguez as he hosts a bevy of guests, from Casa Lapostelle of Chile to Mike Tobin of the Clicquot, Moet, Hennesey Portfolio. Complimentary tastings will be provided from 6 to 9pm, with music and dancing from 7pm to 1:30am. If you prefer something a bit stronger than wine, Club M will also be hosting Rum and Tequila Summer Fridays during the dates of July 8 through August 26. Specialty cocktails from brands such as Cazadores Tequila and Zaya Rum will be available for $8 from 6 to 9pm, with music and dancing from 7pm to 1:30am. Bottoms up!
