Gaslamp Quarter Lamplighter Awards

As someone who lives, works and plays in the Gaslamp Quarter, I know that there are endless options for dining, nightlife, shopping, pampering, and unexpected entertainment in this small yet mighty city. From new hot spots F6ix and The Hopping Pig, to trusted relaxation havens Rock Spa and A Style Concierge, and classic go-to party picks Stingaree and Syrah, every avenue of the Gaslamp Quarter is ripe with lifestyle possibilities at any given moment.

In celebration of the Gaslamp Quarter and all its rich history and contemporary allure, the Gaslamp Quarter Association hosts an annual Hollywood-style awards show, spotlighting the city’s best businesses, events and individuals. This year, the 17th Annual Lamplighter Awards will take place on Monday, November 7, featuring a dinner, auction, and awards ceremony at the Omni Hotel. But first, it’s time to vote.

The 2011 Lamplighter Award nominations are out, and the public is encouraged to vote online for a variety of categories, including Best New Restaurant, Best New Retailer, Favorite Gaslamp Spa, Favorite Gaslamp Hotel, and Chef or Restaurateur of the Year, among others.
